"In the absence of any sure appraisal justifying the de-selection
of Wormington we feel that we cannot support a PRI in the Tirley locality."

"The residents of Tirley believe that this proposal would create an ugly eyesore in the middle of a beautiful, rural part of Britain and are shocked that National Grid has refused even to consider locating it an exisitng site."
Bronwen Behan, Malvern Hills District Councillor, says
"I oppose National Grid's proposal to build a PRI at Flat Farm,Tirley. Very
little appears to have been done to appease objections to the origional plans
and the location remains virtually the same.It must be obvious to all that the
proposed instillation is too big to hide and too intrusive to place in such a
beautiful location."
